Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Charlotte is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to transform meeting spaces for events. This hands-on role requires moving tables, chairs, staging, and equipment, while keeping rooms clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout shifts.
You'll work with the Banquet Manager to follow room setups, replenish supplies, reset rooms after each function, and ensure smooth operations from setup to breakdown for weddings, conferences, and other events.
Set the Stage. Move the Room. Make the Event Happen.
Before the guests arrive, you make the room come to life. A meeting room doesn't set itself. Tables need to be positioned. Chairs need to be arranged. Staging needs to be moved. Water and glassware need to be ready. And when one event ends, the room needs to be transformed for whatever comes next. That's where our Banquet Houseperson comes in. We're looking for an energetic, dependable team member who takes pride in creating clean, organized, event-ready spaces and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. If you enjoy staying active, working with a team, and seeing the immediate results of your hard work, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The position is highly hands-on and includes continuously setting up and breaking down meeting spaces, moving equipment, replenishing supplies, and maintaining meeting rooms and ballrooms.
Banquet Houseperson (1)
The role requires knowledge of different meeting-room setups, including configurations such as round and schoolroom tables. It also requires significant physical activity, including moving tables, chairs, podiums, and other equipment.
Banquet Houseperson (1)
Because you get to see your work come together.
You start with an empty room.
Then the transformation begins.
Tables go in.
Chairs are arranged.
The space takes shape.
Water and glassware are ready.
The room is clean and polished.
And suddenly, it's ready for a wedding, conference, celebration, meeting, or special event.
You helped make that happen.
Then, when the event is over, you do it all again - preparing the space for the next group and the next memorable experience.
You might be the perfect fit if you're the person who:
Guests may never know who moved the tables.
They may never see who prepared the ballroom before they arrived.
But they'll notice when the room looks beautiful, organized, clean, and ready.
That's your contribution.
You're helping create the environment where people celebrate milestones, build businesses, gather with family, learn, connect, and create memories.
The event may be about the guest - you're an important part of making it happen.
If you're dependable, energetic, enjoy physical work, and want to be part of a team that helps create amazing events, we'd love to meet you.
Bring your energy.
Bring your work ethic.
Bring your teamwork.
