Job summary

Gila River Resorts & Casinos is seeking a hospitality-focused team member for the Wild Horse Pass property in Chandler, AZ. The position offers a pay range of $7.50 per hour plus tips in a fast-paced casino environment.

Key duties include delivering outstanding guest service, answering beverage questions, maintaining menu knowledge, and supporting all steps of service. Compliance training and the GILA WAY (greet, interact, listen, appreciate) are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar, restaurant or nightclub is preferred.
• In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain a valid Gila River Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, BBP and other required compliance trainings.
• GILA WAY: greet our guest, interact positively with our guest, listen actively to our guest, appreciate our guest.
• Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks with minimum supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to responsibilities.

This position provides ultimate hospitality for guests in a casino environment by performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
