Cherokee Nation Entertainment in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Banquet Server to join our events team. You will provide high-quality food and beverage service to guests at banquets and catered functions, ensuring efficient and friendly service.

The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation standards, ability to handle financial transactions, and flexibility for weekends/holidays; experience in banquet service is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least three years of banquet experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
• Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and serve all food and beverages to banquet guests in a proper, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event.
• Follow all alcohol safety standards, including checking identification to ensure minimum drinking age requirements are met.
• Uphold cleanliness standards for sanitation and shared areas of responsibility. Perform all pre-bussing duties during the dining experience.
• Perform financial transactions and process guest payments for goods and services delivered.

• Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in various settings (climate-controlled office, casino floors with exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise).
