Cherokee Nation Entertainment, part of Cherokee Nation Businesses, is hiring a Busser for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. You’ll support servers, keep dining areas clean, and help ensure a smooth service flow in a vibrant hospitality environment.

This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and adherence to safety standards, with weekend/holiday shifts and opportunities to learn across the hotel dining operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to obtain a state-issued Alcoholic Beverage License.
• Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs and flexible work hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for service and set/reset tables.
• Promote clean, safe dining area by clearing and sanitizing tables.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages and stocking stations.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain dining room cleanliness and safety.
• Provide friendly guest service and respond to guest requests.

Job Description

As a Busser, you'll be a vital part of our dining team, ensuring that our dining areas are always ready for guests and that service runs smoothly. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent support to servers and a clean, comfortable environment for our guests. You'll play a key role in maintaining the flow of service and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room for service, including setting and resetting tables for guest use.
• Promptly remove dirty dishes from tables during and after the dining experience.
• Assist servers with the delivery of food and beverages to tables. Stock server-side stations as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining rooms. Uphold cleanliness standards for your station and shared areas of responsibility. Follow safe food handling procedures and provide a safe environment for guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to the relevant team members.
• Follow all laws pertaining to the sales and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment ("The Big Six").

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to obtain a state-issued Alcoholic Beverage License.
• Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in settings that may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
