The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY seeks a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at events and functions. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a clean, organized setup that aligns with event specifications.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience, strong communication, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Banquet Server or similar hospitality role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure their dining needs are met throughout the event.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring order accuracy and accommodating dietary requests.
• Clear tables and clean up after events, removing dishes and service items.
• Monitor guests’ needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Handle additional tasks as directed by the Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain, or Event Coordinator.

• Clear tables and clean up after events, including removing dishes, glassware, and other service items.
• Monitor guests’ needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service, enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Handle any additional tasks as directed by the Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain, or Event Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Banquet Server or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.

Compensation

$24.03 per hour
