Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Cleveland Rockside is seeking banquet personnel to maintain storage areas, set up and break down meeting rooms, and ensure guest spaces stay presentable. The role involves substantial physical activity, moving tables, chairs, and equipment as required for events.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of food and beverage service, good English communication, and adherence to safety standards. Uniforms are provided and discounted hotel stays are offered as benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and guest relations.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware used in meeting rooms.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and convey simple instructions.
• Ability to follow product labelling instructions for safety.

Responsibilities

• Keep storage rooms organized and stocked.
• Set up meeting rooms as specified, moving tables, chairs, and equipment up to 80 lbs.
• Break down rooms after events and return items to storage.
• Provide clean glasses and water in meeting rooms and maintain cleaning schedule.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; assist other banquet staff as needed.
