Responsibilities include setting up rooms to guest specifications, replenishing glasses and water, and supporting other banquet staff. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to hotel procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and guest etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware; awareness of equipment and room setup styles.
• English sufficient to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to follow product labelling instructions for safe product use.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment such as a coffee maker.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize storage areas and meeting rooms.
• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications, including transporting tables and chairs.
• Break down rooms after events and return items to storage.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for rooms and ballrooms to stay presentable.
• Replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Communicate with supervisor during shifts to stay informed.
• Perform general cleaning with standard products to meet health standards.
• Assist other banquet staff as needed and follow safety procedures.
