Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Cook I to prepare and cook a variety of foods according to recipes and production standards. This role operates in the kitchen and concessions for the facility and venues, with banquet event prep and buffet presentation responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, six months of kitchen experience, and a willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends. Serve Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Serve Safe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items for banquet events.
• Assist with food preparation such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins and prepping sauces.
• Maintains clean, safe working environment.
• Creative in designing buffet presentations.
• Label and store food properly to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.
• Follow directions from supervisors, senior cooks and Chefs.
• Other duties as assigned.
