Job summary

Pebble Beach Company is seeking a Pastry Cook 3 for The Lodge at Pebble Beach, CA. You will ensure high-quality pastry preparation and presentation for banquets and special events, working under the Pastry Chef and Pastry Chef Sous Chef.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining mise en place, assisting with daily pastry orders, and supporting a collaborative kitchen environment. Strong pastry background and safety certification are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in knife and equipment skills.
• Knowledge of ingredients and preparation.
• Minimum 1–2 years' experience preparing pastries at a premier restaurant or resort.
• Able to operate typical pastry tools and equipment.
• Food safety certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries and baked goods as specified by the Executive Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.
• Create plate presentations for restaurant and Banquet desserts ensuring an attractive presentation.
• Assist with banquets and pastry orders, including following daily production schedule.
• Maintain sanitation in the pastry shop and ensure safety standards.
• Assist Pastry Chef in maintaining quality and standards and inventory control.
