Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to lead on-site banquet and catered event operations, overseeing Captains and Servers to ensure events meet BEOs and client standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of banquet or food/beverage service, prior supervisory experience, and familiarity with POS systems. Training on alcohol handling (TIPS/TEAM) and food safety may be required, with multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations required.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Working knowledge of POS systems and event service processes.
• TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent.
• Food handler certification may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
