Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Banquet Server to supervise banquet staff, oversee service and breakdown, and ensure safety and accuracy of BEOs and room setups. The role involves coordinating with catering and related departments, and stepping in as a server when required.

Candidates should have two years of hotel banquet experience, strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to manage guest relations and safety procedures. Flexible shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of hotel banquet food/beverage service.
• Able to process paperwork.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware; various equipment and setup styles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff during setup, service and breakdown.
• Check BEOs and room set-ups for accuracy.
• Coordinate with catering and other departments on changes and schedules.
• Operate as a banquet server when needed and assist with guest service.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report safety concerns.
