Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee setup, service, and breakdown for all meeting rooms, ensuring top-quality execution in line with hotel standards. You will lead the banquet team, train staff, and coordinate with clients to review Banquet Event Orders and adapt to changes while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• One full year in a banquet or supervisory role is required.
• Working knowledge of banquet/catering food and beverage service.
• Able to communicate effectively with hotel management and guests.
• Current Food Handler Card holder.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage prep, service standards, and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Understanding of verbal English sufficient for job requests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff: schedule, train, coach, and resolve issues.
• Oversee setup and service to meet banquet event orders and standards.
• Meet with customers to review events and changes for quality delivery.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of banquet areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies; maintain safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, accidents, and losses to supervisor.
• Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per handbook.
• Assist other banquet personnel as needed.
