Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks an energetic Banquet Manager to join the Food and Beverage Team at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key, Florida. You will oversee all banquet operations, lead the banquet team, and ensure flawless events while upholding brand standards.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of direct hotel food and beverage leadership, strong leadership and guest service skills, and experience coordinating menus with culinary and sales teams.

Qualifications

• At least two years direct hotel food & beverage leadership experience, banquet-focused preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with professional guest handling.
• Experience managing shift schedules and coaching team members.
• Knowledge of food production techniques for fine/casual dining or catering.
• Bar operations or beverage service familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all banquet/group events from preplanning to setup and breakdown.
• Be primary contact for banquet clients during events and resolve concerns promptly.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain service standards.
• Oversee food presentation and safety protocols per health regulations and policies.
• Control inventory for banquet supplies and equipment to optimize costs.
• Utilize POS systems for processing, billing, and cash handling accurately.
• Monitor shift operations and ensure consistent delivery of hospitality experiences.
• Collaborate with culinary and sales teams to plan menus and event execution.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments as needed for events.
• Assist budgeting by tracking expenses and implementing cost-effective practices.
