Job summary

Valor Hospitality seeks a dedicated Banquet Supervisor to oversee event setup, service, and breakdown at our Starkville property. You’ll lead banquet staff, ensure BEOs are followed, and deliver guest-focused service that makes events smooth and memorable.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Culinary and Banquet teams, maintaining cleanliness, handling post-event checks, and ensuring safety and accuracy throughout functions; a high school diploma and strong English communication are

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to lift, push, carry 20-40 lbs.
• Stand continuously for long periods of time.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff during setup, service, and breakdown.
• Check BEOs and ensure directions are followed.
• Maintain neat public areas and communicate with group representatives.
• Ensure proper presentation and service of Food & Beverage items as per standards.
• Coordinate between Culinary Dept. and Banquet Team during events.
• Compile end-of-event checks and post to master accounts; sign for clients.
• Ensure staff paperwork is completed; reset area for next function.
