Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Banquet Attendant to properly set, clean and maintain all function rooms and service areas, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with Sales and Food & Beverage to support events and uphold high standards.

Responsibilities include verifying BEO details, arranging rooms per specs, assisting servers during service, and maintaining organized storerooms while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• 6 months hotel or convention center banquet food/beverage services environment.
• Experience in banquet operations, convention setup, AV equipment preferred.
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Check server’s and house person’s BEOs to ensure accuracy.
• Set rooms, buffets, and tables per BEO specs and supervisor instructions.
• Perform guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
• Ensure storerooms are clean, organized and secure; assist in inventory.
• Organize banquet hall for safe, energy-efficient work environment.
• Ensure unused rooms meet department standards.
• Constantly communicate concerns to Banquet Manager.
• Assist servers during service and relay requests to supervisor.
• Maintain a cooperative team attitude with supervisors and associates.
• Enforce safety and sanitation procedures including OSHA guidelines.
