Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality’s South Seas on Captiva Island, Florida, seeks a Banquet Manager to lead high-volume events in a premier resort setting. You’ll oversee all banquet operations, from setup to breakdown, and collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and Event teams to deliver flawless guest experiences.

Lead, train, and coach banquet staff while ensuring safety, quality, and service standards. This hands-on role requires strong organizational skills, evening/weekend availability, and a passion

Qualifications

• 3+ years of banquet or event operations leadership experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, service standards, and banquet operations best practices.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Team: recruit, train, schedule, and lead banquet staff including Captains, Servers, and Support Staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
• Execute Exceptional Events: oversee all banquet functions from set-up to breakdown with flawless execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Culinary, and Event teams to bring each event vision to life.
• Ensure details—timelines, room setups, décor, service flow—are executed to standard.
• Deliver Elevated Guest Experiences: act as the primary operational contact during events and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain Operational Excellence: ensure compliance with standards, safety, sanitation, and service execution.
• Oversee inventory, equipment, and banquet spaces to ensure readiness.
• Financial & Business Management: manage labor scheduling and productivity and support budget adherence.
