Job summary

You will supervise servers, review BEOs with planners, ensure rooms are ready early, coordinate with the Banquet Chef, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout events.

Responsibilities

• Supervises banquet staff in setup, service, and breakdown for events.
• Attend weekly BEO meetings and relay needs to staff.
• Review BEOs and communicate with the meeting/event planner about changes.
• Ensure functions start on time and rooms are ready 15 minutes prior.
• Conduct pre-function meetings on hygiene and appearance standards.
• Check-in servers, assign stations, and oversee side work duties.
• Inspect buffet and service areas for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Monitor stations, refill beverages, and remove service items as needed.
• Oversee servers on the floor and ensure quality guest service.
• Serve beverages per regulations.
• Prepare daily banquet summaries and submit to Night Audit.
• Maintain communication with the Banquet Chef for coordination.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas; post-function cleanup.
