Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA.

You will train and direct banquet staff to ensure successful functions and repeat business, supervising setup, coordination with kitchen and service teams, and adherence to safety standards. Leadership and strong communication are essential for guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred; BS in Hotel/Restaurant Management desirable.
• 2+ years in Food & Beverage; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the setup of banquet function rooms to align with event orders.
• Communicate with kitchen, service, beverage, and other staff to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Provide leadership and direction for development of banquet ambassadors.
• Supervise post-event cleanup and proper equipment storage.
• Enter billing information and process payroll for each event.
