Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a PM Banquet Setup at the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves placing, servicing, maintaining and breaking down physical sets in ballrooms per Hilton standards.

Responsibilities include stocking meeting rooms, breaking down spaces for the next function, and coordinating with managers and team members to meet exact specifications. A strong emphasis on physical activity and adherence to schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
• Working knowledge of the hotel's services, policies and operations.
• Communication skills to interact with supervisor, coworkers and guests.
• Moderate literacy to read and understand instructions.
• Ability and willingness to learn AV system setup.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs and related equipment up to 80 lbs in crowded rooms.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or move items up to 500 lbs with hand cart/truck.

Responsibilities

• Participate in placement, service, maintenance and breakdown of physical sets in ballroom and associated areas per Hilton standards.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with glassware and water.
• Breakdown meeting rooms and return items to storage for next function.
• Set up and service functions, including physical activity transporting materials.
• Communicate specifications of function to managers and team members.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
