Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a PM Banquet Setup for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves supplying and replenishing meeting rooms, setting up and breaking down spaces, and transporting heavy equipment.

It requires good communication, physical stamina, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Availability for varying schedules, and lifting up to 80 lbs, is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Working knowledge of hotel services, policies and operations.
• Communication skills to interact with supervisor, coworkers and guests.
• Moderate literacy to read and understand instructions.
• Ability and willingness to learn AV system setup.
• Ability to lift and move tables and chairs up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to grasp, lift and move goods up to 500 lbs with a hand cart.

Responsibilities

• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Breakdown meeting rooms and return to storage for next function.
• Set up and service functions, including heavy materials transport.
• Communicate with managers and team to deliver all specifications.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Work varying schedules to reflect hotel business needs.
