Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Director of Banquets to lead the daily front-of-house food & beverage operations, manage scheduling and beverage inventory, and continually innovate offerings. The role requires coordinating staff across events, liaising with clients and internal teams, and upholding service standards.

The position emphasizes budget management, staff training, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences during conferences and banquets.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Willing to lead by example with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hotel F&B operations, especially banquets.
• 3+ years’ experience as banquet manager or similar.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize staff and maintain service standards.
• Act as client liaison and coordinate with internal departments to deliver quality service.
• Ensure conference rooms are set up per sheets and events run smoothly.
• Attend pre-conference meetings and maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain budgets and train staff to Platinum Service standards.
