Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior banquet operations experience preferred.
• Experience coaching staff and supervising a team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the set-up and breakdown of event spaces during the shift, assisting as needed.
• Captains events by directing servers, bartenders, and housemen through setup, service, and breakdown.
• Assists with buffet setup and food orders to ensure smooth service.
• Circles the guest floor during service to check tables and assist staff as needed.
• Confirms guest counts for accurate billing and generates captain reports for events.
• Coaches staff in real-time and notifies supervisors of issues requiring follow-up.
• Maintains a clean, guest-ready space and compliant uniform appearance.
• Resolves guest issues with professionalism and communicates with guests as needed.
