Highgate Hotels is seeking a Line Cook at The Line Cook at Kalia Theater in Hawaii. You will prepare all food items per standardized recipes for Restaurant/Banquet service while upholding the highest quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

The role requires culinary experience, a strong knowledge of menus, and the ability to work flexible hours, including busy shifts. Join a team focused on cost control and guest satisfaction.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Culinary experience is required to meet menu and prep standards.
• Flexible and long hours may be required to support busy shifts.
• Medium physical work; stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Complete necessary food and station preparation before opening to serve guests promptly.
• Prepare and display food items according to Food & Beverage standards.
• Recognize quality standards in vegetables, fish, dairy and meats.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment and proper food handling.
• Prepare foods following standard recipes; assist with specials as directed.
• Breakdown buffets and kitchen line; store food and equipment properly.
• Work Kitchen/Banquet stations as scheduled by the Chef or Supervisor.
• Follow Health Department and company regulations regarding food safety.
• Operate and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.
