Job summary

Dolce by Wyndham Parsippany is seeking a Banquet Server to lead banquet service and ensure exceptional guest experiences at events. You will set up, serve, and break down functions, while coordinating with banquet staff and food & beverage teams.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to explain menu items and ingredients to guests. Hospitality experience and strong communication are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Superior communication skills to provide information to guests and staff.
• Knowledge of hotel operations including planning, security, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet team in serving guests and ensuring a positive experience.
• Check BEOs and room setups to ensure accuracy and directions are followed.
• Coordinate with catering office and banquet staff for changes and schedules.
• Inspect banquet areas at end of function and ensure equipment is returned and areas are clean.
• Know the menu items and be able to explain major ingredients and preparation methods.
