Marriott Hotel is seeking a Steward to maintain the storage and cleanliness of all tableware, cookware, and service items, ensuring outlets have the necessary items for service.

The role requires sanitation of dishwashing and prep areas, operating dishwashing and floor cleaning equipment, and assisting in banquet setup and breakdown while maintaining inventory control and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
• Attention to detail and speed with accurate work.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds alone and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation of dishwashing and prep areas.
• Sort, wash, and store china, glassware, silverware, and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing and floor cleaning equipment.
• Assist in banquet setup and breakdown.
• Inventory control of china, glassware, and service wares.
• Follow safety and OSHA regulations.
