Mohegan Sun is seeking a culinary professional to assist the Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will prepare and plate dishes, train new staff, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards across stations.

Ideal candidates have an associate or two-year culinary degree and at least five years of experience. Experience in teaching and supervising teams is highly valued. Regular shifts; training and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree or a two year Culinary Degree.
• Five years of culinary experience in a high volume operation.
• Experience teaching, training and supervising staff.
• In lieu of a degree, seven years of high volume restaurant experience with training.

Responsabilités

• Prepares, seasons and garnishes food following recipes and plating guides.
• Orients and trains new employees on menu, recipes and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary work area.
• Assists with ordering, payroll, scheduling and performance input.
• Supports management in fiscal guideline adherence and staff supervision.
