Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a professional Line Cook to ensure quality and consistency of all menu items. You will interact with guests and team members with courtesy and hospitality, prepare dishes to company standards, and maintain cleanliness across the station and kitchen.

You will follow FIFO, set up and close stations, manage mise en place, and assist in providing excellent guest experiences while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of culinary experience in a high-volume food and beverage operation.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook.
• Handle allergy/dietary restrictions and modifications.
• Follow orders from POS and expeditor to ensure accuracy.
• Keep station, kitchen and venue clean and sanitary per standards.
• Set up stations, open/close procedures, stock supplies and perform FIFO-based mise en place.
• Communicate product needs to chefs and support staff.
