Job summary

The Charleston Place is seeking a Banquet Cook III to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner per guest orders while meeting production and quality standards in a safe, sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include knife skills, station setup for multiple service periods, safe operation of kitchen equipment, proper food dating/rotation, and assisting with prep for the next shift. Minimum 1–3 years of related experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in similar kitchen/hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of knife skills and knife maintenance.
• Prepare consistent quality food and pastry items according to guest orders following recipe cards and production, portion, and presentation standards.
• Complete place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
• Operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Date all food containers, rotate perishables, and ensure proper temperatures.
• Assist in prep work for the next shift.
