White Lodging Services, Inc. seeks a dedicated Banquet Houseperson to support all banquet events at Hotel Trinity in downtown Austin. You will assist with setup, service, and teardown, ensuring clean, organized spaces and safe handling of equipment.

Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays is required. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional hospitality in a luxury hotel environment.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with servers and event staff.
• High attention to detail for proper setup and presentation of banquet spaces.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; weekend/night shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, service, and tear down of all banquet events to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep function rooms and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
• Handle and store banquet equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist in moving heavy items like tables and chairs following directions.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality; maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• A banquet houseperson is responsible for the successful set-up, service, and tear down of all banquet events.
• Keep the function room area and storage areas clean and always organized.
• Practice the safe handling care and storage of all banquet equipment.
• Assist in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, and chairs to the banquet hall and follow instructions on how to place them.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness always.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
