Job summary

Market Street Grill is seeking a Catering Banquet Attendant to support the Banquet Coordinator in delivering memorable guest experiences. You will prepare event and buffet areas, assist with setup, service, and cleanup, and ensure food safety and presentation standards are followed. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

This PRN/part-time role requires teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment and opportunities to contribute to flawless events.

Qualifications

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and safe-handling procedures for fuel and hot equipment.
• Clear, courteous communication with a smile to guests and co-workers.
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
• Current alcohol server permit when assigned to beverage service, as required by applicable regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Banquet, catering, or hosting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet space to match the Banquet Event Order, including buffet, beverages, utensils, condiments, and service details.
• Setup buffet line and ensure proper presentation and cleanliness before guests arrive.
• Welcome guests and provide courteous, attentive service; take and deliver drink orders.
• Pre-bus and clear tables promptly; monitor trash and respond to guest requests.
• Follow all food-safety practices; monitor cleanliness of restrooms and equipment.
• Tear down and clean up after events and report any shortages or hazards.
