Job summary

White Lodging seeks an experienced events operations leader to collaborate with sales and culinary teams to execute high‑end events. You will plan layouts, coordinate staffing, and supervise service from start to finish, ensuring guest satisfaction and flawless execution of meals and beverage service.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of hotel operations, including A/V and F&B, with a proactive mindset to anticipate guest and event needs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching skills to guide a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities focused on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of hotel operations including A/V, F&B outlets, culinary, engineering, and sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to build trust with guests and staff.
• Proactive mindset to anticipate guest and event needs.
• Understanding of end-to-end event planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team and head chef to deliver events that exceed guest expectations.
• Plan event layouts, oversee venue setup, and arrange tables, linens, centerpieces, etc.
• Coordinate staffing needs and create work schedules for banquet servers and event staff.
• Oversee smooth execution of meals and beverages from seating to clearing.
• Manage liquor and soft drink availability and ensure compliance with service regulations.
• Lead and mentor staff to drive operational excellence.
