Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking an exceptional Banquet/Event Setup Attendant for the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Fargo, ND. You will greet guests, set up and tear down banquet rooms, and manage A/V equipment while upholding high standards of service.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of banquet or hospitality experience, strong communication, and a genuine hospitality mindset.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Banquets or Hospitality preferred.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service to guests and team members.
• Interest in hospitality; make others feel welcome and cared for.
• Collaborative spirit and teamwork.
• Strong communication with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math used for adjusting recipes.
• Problem-solving and training abilities are often used.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and responds to special requests.
• Responds to guest concerns or suggestions; refer to management as needed.
• Set up and tear down function rooms per BEO and standards.
• Keep banquet spaces neat, clean, and organized.
• Display professional attitude toward guests and staff.
• Handle lost and found per department policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
• Keep supervisor informed of issues of significance.
