Hotel Equities in Fargo, ND is seeking a Conference Services Manager for Delta Hotels by Marriott. You will steer planning, contracting, and event execution to maximize revenue while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates will have strong MS Word/Excel skills, familiarity with OPERA/CI-TY, and a hospitality-first mindset. The role requires collaboration, flexibility, and local travel to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with hotel Property Management Software (OPERA and CI-TY a plus).
• Genuine interest in hospitality and guest relations.
• A collaborative spirit and teamwork orientation.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes is a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and secure new and repeat business; maximize banquet space to meet revenue goals.
• Execute targeted marketing to maximize revenue and meet sales objectives.
• Plan and detail meetings with clients; prepare contracts and BEOs; coordinate with hotel departments.
• Prepare status and period-end sales reports and track progress.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures and competitors to sharpen sales strategies.
• Communicate professionally with guests and staff; participate in professional organizations.
• Perform special projects and travel locally for sales calls.
