Highgate Hotels in Greenville, SC seeks a Banquet Houseperson to handle setup, refresh, teardown and maintenance of all meeting spaces. You will ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and readiness of equipment for events.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift heavy items, and effective communication with staff and guests. You will contribute to delivering excellent service and a seamless event experience in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; related hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Set up, refresh, tear down and maintain all banquet spaces to meet function requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of banquet areas, storage spaces, and related equipment.
• Maintain organized banquet storeroom with necessary supplies for meetings or food service.
• Transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment; refresh meeting rooms as needed.
• Notify management of hazards; handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
• Maintain guest satisfaction through attentive service.
