Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking an exceptional Banquet/Event Setup Attendant for the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Fargo, ND. In this role you will greet guests, set up and tear down banquet spaces, and ensure high-quality service and clean, organized function rooms.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in banquets or hospitality, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in banquets or hospitality.
• Excellent customer service for guests and team members.
• Interest in hospitality and making guests feel welcome.
• Team player with collaborative spirit.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math used for adjusting recipes.
• Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle special requests.
• Address concerns or complaints and escalate to management.
• Set up and tear down of function rooms per BEO details.
• Keep banquet spaces neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain professional attitude with guests and staff.
• Handle lost and found per department policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Keep supervisor informed of issues.
