Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Banquet Houseman to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll set up banquet rooms, manage supplies, and work with multiple departments to ensure flawless events.

The role requires flexibility for various shifts, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain ServSafe and alcohol-related certifications within 90 days. Excellent organization and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of banquet experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Responsible Alcohol certification within 90 days.
• Ability to obtain Fork Lift/Scissors Lift and Electric Pallet Jack certifications within 90 days.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, take initiative, and prioritize work.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up rooms according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and diagrams.
• Maintain knowledge of daily scheduled group functions and room locations.
• Break down and clean up rooms after events and reset for upcoming events.
• Attend BEO and Resume meetings.
• Work with other departments and vendors to meet client needs.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe work environment and monitor inventory.
