Job summary

HRI Hospitality in Richmond, VA seeks a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional guest service during banquets and events. You will work with the Banquet Captain and F&B team to set up rooms, serve meals, and maintain high standards of presentation and hospitality.

Strong communication in English, a high school diploma, and knowledge of food and beverage service are preferred. On-site role with training and growth opportunities within the hotel’s culinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to communicate in English with team members and guests.
• Ability to set up banquet rooms and service areas according to standards.
• Flexibility to assist with various banquet sizes and duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet rooms and tables for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and ensure proper setup.
• Assist the Banquet Captain, F&B Manager, and Executive Chef with preparation needs.
• Serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner as required for events.
• Oversee banquet room cleanliness and maintain service areas.
• Train new staff in service, banquet, and guest service skills.
• Maintain department well-being including food and labor cost control.
• Coordinate with kitchen, sales, and housekeeping to meet requirements.
• Supervise room setup and replenish supplies as needed.
