Job summary

Hotel Clio, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Denver's Cherry Creek North, seeks a part-time culinary teammate to ensure quality service from the front line through sanitation compliance. You will work within the Toro Kitchen & Lounge environment, following recipe cards and SOPs to deliver consistent, delicious results.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of related kitchen experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to communicate with kitchen staff. The role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience required: 1–2 full years in a related position with this company or other organization.

Responsibilities

• Check all items against the recipe cards and verify use records are followed for all items served.
• Monitor line setup prior to meal functions for maximum efficiency during meal periods.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation and policy adherence during service.
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and avoid over-preparing.
• Date food containers and rotate per SOP; keep perishables at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and determine necessary prep and line setup.
• Note out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
• Assist in keeping buffet stocked and return unused items to storage with cover/date.
• Assist in planning actions to correct food cost problems and control waste.

Education

High school education or equivalent
