Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in kitchen production.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes and prep lists.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef with food prep for functions.
• Cook menu items with kitchen staff.
• Follow Executive/Sous Chef instructions.
• Wrap, label, and date leftovers; stock inventory.
• Take and document temperatures of refrigerators and freezers every four hours.
• Ensure high quality and timely food delivery during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen after shifts.
• Instill teamwork and effective communication between front and back of house.
