Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa seeks skilled cooks for banquet food preparation. Roles include Cook 1–3 levels based on experience. Responsibilities cover prep, station setup, plating, and a mix of buffet and plated items in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Four years of culinary experience and ServSafe certification are required, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• At least 4 years culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• ServSafe or equivalent food handlers certification required.
• Advanced knife skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Efficiently prepare all food items as directed by supervisor and to company specifications.
• Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Understand large-scale food production and times required to complete tasks.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
• Learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
• Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
• Plate items to meet specifications.
• Prepare a mixture of buffet and plated style items.
• Produce orders including grilling, roasting, and baking fish, steaks, chicken and shellfish.
• Perform work assignments to meet quantities within time frames.
• Communicate with team members.
• Attend required monthly department meetings and trainings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
