Urban Farmer Philadelphia, part of Sage Hospitality Group, is hiring a line cook to ensure proper service from the front line through quality control and sanitation. You will prepare dishes with consistent quality and support a fast-paced kitchen team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a related role, familiar with recipe cards, stations, and safety standards, and thrive in a collaborative, guest-focused environment in a modern steakhouse setting.

Formación

• Requires ability to work as a team member and an ability to communicate with kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of cooking and the practices and procedures of a kitchen in order to perform non-repetitive analytical work.

Responsabilidades

• Check all items against the recipe cards, verify records, and ensure food is presented correctly and efficiently.
• Monitor the line setup prior to meal periods to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and adhere to the clean-as-you-go policy.
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards, as directed by servers.
• Date, rotate, and store perishables per SOP, ensuring proper temperatures and stock levels.
