Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's La Quinta Resort and Club is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will assist the Chef in production, prep, and plating for a variety of dining venues, from casual to fine dining, ensuring consistency and quality.

You will work with the team to develop techniques, minimize waste, and uphold sanitation standards while maintaining an efficient, organized kitchen. The role requires physical stamina, weekend availability, and a passion for learning.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong organizational skills for station setup and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent stamina to work on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
• Prepare ingredients and use knives and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean, sanitized workstations and proper storage.
