Our flagship property, Hilton McLean, is searching for a talented Banquet Cook to join their team!

This well-known, high-profile property is located directly adjacent to Hilton's headquarters in the bustling area of Tyson's Corner in McLean, Virginia. The beautiful 458-room property boasts over 27,000 square feet of elegant meeting space and two food and beverage outlets. Reliable transportation is a must as shifts often end after Metro & Bus closures. This is a union position!

Ideal candidates will be team players who are passionate, hardworking, and have a minimum of 1 year of professional cooking experience. Prior culinary experience in hotel banquet operations is preferred. This is a union position!

Shift Pattern: This position oversees AM and PM shifts. Full availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Pay Rate: $24.99 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will:

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor quality control for hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings
• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
• Practice correct food handling and storage procedures according to regulations
