Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Security and Safety to lead and elevate our safety and security operations. Just steps from Tysons and minutes from Washington, D.C., our full-service hotel offers 458 rooms, over 27,000 sq ft of event space, and a sophisticated guest experience rooted in Hilton’s commitment to hospitality and innovation.

As Director of Security and Safety, you will promote a culture of safety and vigilance across the hotel, ensuring the protection of guests, team members, and property. You will oversee security, safety training, emergency response planning, incident investigation, and compliance with standards.

What will I be doing?

Responsible for implementing safety and security programs to ensure guest and staff safety and property security, with tasks including:

• Managing all safety and security operations, including guest and staff safety, OSHA compliance, safety programs, systems management, budgeting, and standards adherence.
• Patrolling hotel interior and perimeter to identify risks and undesirable conditions.
• Investigating accidents, thefts, and unlawful activities.
• Responding to emergencies like hazards, fires, medical issues, and threats.
• Serving as liaison with law enforcement.
• Overseeing report and documentation accuracy.
• Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues.
• Monitoring team performance, providing supervision, development, and recognition.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and training staff.
