Loews Arlington Hotel is hiring a Banquet Cook III to support food preparation for large hotel events. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a high-volume kitchen within a premier Arlington property.

You will assist with prep, setup, plating, and station maintenance, while learning banquet production standards. The position requires basic knife skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Entry-level banquet kitchen role; basic cooking experience required.
• Must have basic knife skills and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must obtain Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in hotel/restaurant operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep tasks for banquet functions (washing, chopping, measuring, portioning).
• Set up and maintain prep and service stations before, during, and after events.
• Plate food and assist with buffet line setup under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Label, store, and rotate food items to ensure freshness and health compliance.
• Attend mandatory trainings and events as required.
