Loews Arlington Hotel is seeking a skilled cook to support our upscale, high-volume kitchen. You will follow standardized recipes, set up your station, and ensure timely plating of menu items with quality and safety in mind.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of cooking experience, strong knowledge of food sanitation, and the ability to work flexible schedules in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification preferred.
• Three+ years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of food service sanitation standards and equipment use.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and organizes work area with required supplies and equipment.
• Receives, inspects and rotates food products for freshness and quality.
• Prepares and stores raw food items following recipes and portion controls.
• Plates foods per established guidelines and times service to guests.
