Job summary

Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking a Banquet Cook III to support food preparation for hotel events. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals starting their culinary career and gaining experience in large-volume production in a hotel setting.

You will assist with prep, set up stations, plate food, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. Basic knife skills and the ability to handle pressure are essential, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel/restaurant cooking experience with sanitation basics.
• Knowledge of banquet-style service, buffet prep, and large-volume cooking techniques.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep tasks for banquet functions (washing, chopping, measuring, portioning).
• Set up and maintain prep and service stations before/during/after events.
• Plate food and help with buffet setup under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Label, store and rotate food items to ensure freshness and health compliance.
