Job summary

Marriott Chicago O'Hare is seeking a full-time Banquet Cook to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate has high-volume banquet cooking experience and can follow standardized recipes and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include following food safety policies, preparing and expediting menu items, communicating issues to the Executive Chef, and maintaining hygiene. Availability for days/evenings/weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year banquet cook experience in a high-volume hotel.
• Ability to lift and move objects as part of duties (e.g., exerting 10 pounds or more).

Overview

The Banquet Cook will be responsible for following the cooking guidelines, while supporting the department and hotel needs to achieve the overall success of the operations.
