Qualifications

• Experience in hotel banquet food and beverage service.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, etiquette, and basic preparations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as Food Handler and Alcohol Service, are often required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff during events, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.
• Lead the planning, organization, and execution of various events.
• Ensure table settings and service meet BEO and company standards.
• Act as a liaison, greeting clients and guests and responding to requests.
• Review and interpret Banquet Event Orders for accuracy.
• Coordinate staff on set-ups, service, and break-down schedules.
• Process banquet checks accurately for client payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all banquet areas.
