Stonebridge is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events in Basking Ridge, NJ. You will work closely with the Banquet Manager to coordinate operations, supervise staff, and uphold service standards for all events.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Experience in banquet or event management (2+ years) and knowledge of health/safety regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in banquet or event management, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and make adjustments as needed.
• Knowledge of banquet setups, service standards, and health/safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and event management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Banquet Manager to manage event schedules and changes.
• Supervise banquet servers, bartenders, and staff to maintain service standards.
• Ensure proper cleaning and storage of equipment after events.
• Communicate with clients during events to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
